Udaipur, often called the "City of Lakes," boasts picturesque palaces and serene waters, with the iconic Lake Pichola and the opulent City Palace captivating visitors. Jaisalmer, the "Golden City," is renowned for its stunning sandstone architecture, particularly the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, which rises like a mirage from the Thar Desert.

Rajasthan tourism is popular for its cultural diversity and the best part is that this beautiful state has something in store for everyone, with intricate designs on the jharokha of palaces to paintings on walls, art lovers would enjoy the kaleidoscope of colors in every nook of Rajasthan offers. Mumbai - Udaipur

  • Meet team Bhatakna as we get ready for an amazing tour ahead. Board the bus to Udaipur and settle down at your respective seats allotted by the tour guide.
  • The journey is going to be filled with games & interactive sessions.

Day 2

Udaipur Arrival | Local Sightseeing

  • Arrive in Udaipur, check into the hotel followed by a briefing session by the trip captain.
  • Afterward, we'll head for a local sightseeing tour where we'd visit The City Palace which is a testament to the grandeur of Rajasthan with its flamboyant architectural style and panoramic views of the entire city. 
  • We'll also visit Sajjangarh Fort which is also known as Monsoon Palace and is a unique, one-of-a-kind palatial residence situated on a hilltop.
  • As Udaipur is abode to many beautiful lakes, we'll visit the most prominent one in our sightseeing tour which is Lake Pichola. It is an artificial freshwater lake dating back to the 13th century.
  • In the evening, we will head back to our hotel. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 3

Udaipur to Jodhpur via Kumbhalgarh Fort (250 Kilometers)

  • After early morning breakfast, we'll check out of our hotel and head towards Jodhpur which is renowned as the Blue City owning to the color that almost the entire city is draped in.
  • En route, we'll visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort also known as The Great Wall of India as the fortress is the second longest continuous wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. It is also among the largest fort complexes in the World and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • We will also visit the Maharana Pratap Museum in Haldighati which was built to commemorate the Mewari Rana and his battle with the Mughals. The museum has many artifacts displayed that will take you back in history.
  • Upon our arrival in Jodhpur, we'll check in at our hotel. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 4

Jodhpur Sightseeing | Market Tour

  • After early morning breakfast, we'll head out for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur where we'd visit Umaid Bhawan Palace which is the last ever Royal Palace to be built and is one of the largest private residencies in the world.
  • Afterward, we'll visit the Mehrangarh Fort which is one of the most magnificent forts of Rajasthan perched on top of a perpendicular cliff.
  • The last stop on our heritage tour will be Jaswant Thada which is also known as The Taj Mahal of Mewar for its intricately carved marble structures. It was built in 1899 to pay tribute to Maharaja Jaswant Singh by his son.
  • To get the full feel of Rajasthan, we will start our Market tour near the Ghanta Ghar. do some amazing Street Shopping & Give your taste buds a treat by having kachori, lassi, samosas, mirchi vada, and many more. 
  • In the evening, we'll head back to our hotel where we'll have dinner followed by an overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 5

Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (280 Kilometers)

  • After early morning breakfast, we'll check out of our hotel and head towards Jaisalmer also known as The Golden City which is nestled in the heart of the Thar Desert.
  • Upon our arrival in Jaisalmer, we'll check in to our swiss campsite. Afterward, we'll head towards the Sam Sand Dunes for Desert Safari, and Camel rides, and to witness Cultural Shows by Rajasthani Folk groups who display their talent through the art of music and dance.
  • As dusk starts to settle, we'll enjoy Desert Camping where we'd spend the evening under starry skies. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Note: If due to time constraints, we cannot indulge in desert safari in the evening on this day, we’ll do it early in the morning on the next day.

Day 6

Jaisalmer sightseeing | Departure for Ahmedabad

  • After early morning breakfast, we'll check out of our campsite and head for a local sightseeing tour where we'll visit Jaisalmer City.  En route, we'd visit Kuldhara which is an abandoned village dating back to 200 hundred years. It is also called Ghost Village and is one of the most popular haunted sites in Rajasthan.
  • Afterward, we'd visit The Jaisalmer Fort which is a living fort as half of the city's population lives there. It is one of the largest forts in the world and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.
  • We'd also visit Gadisar Lake which is one of the main attractions of the city and acts as the perfect vantage point to witness the spectacle that is the Jaisalmer Fort.
  • In the evening, we'll embark on an overnight journey to Ahmedabad.

Things To Carry
  • Day backpack (20 – 30 Ltrs): When you are on a local sightseeing tour, you are required to carry only a few necessary items and for that, you need a day backpack as you will leave your bigger one at your designated stay.
  • Floaters or Sandals: When you are spending your day at leisure, a good pair of sandals and floaters will help you to move freely.
  • Outdoor Shoes: A comfortable shoe is required when traveling outdoors, especially in the mountains. They shouldn’t be chunky, instead, they should be lightweight and sturdy.
  • 3 Quick Dry Tees: You must keep at least three pairs of quick dry tees so that you can wash them in between stops for proper hygiene.
  • 3 Pair of Cotton Socks: Cotton socks are extremely comfortable to move around in and are lightweight as well which is why you can always count on a good pair of cotton socks while traveling. However, keep in mind to change them and avoid wearing them if they are moist.
  • 1 Pair of Woolen Socks: A good pair of woolen socks, especially merino, are comfortable, limit odors and provide adequate insulation from the cold so you can wear them at night.
  • 1 Poncho: A poncho is an evolved form of a raincoat that provides coverage to your body as well as your bag and ensures total water protection from rain.
  • Quick-dry towel: A quick-dry towel will help in maintaining proper hygiene. It must dry quickly because the wet fabric will only increase the chance of bacterial growth.

IRCTC Rules

  • Kindly note that Bhatakna makes its tickets from IRCTC certified agents.
  • We use intelligent AI-based tools like ConfirmTicket to predict the confirmation probability of your ticket.
  • It is essential to note that the tool does not guarantee a 100% confirmation for Waitlisted and RAC tickets and Bhatakna does not hold any control over confirmation of tickets.
  • Incase train gets cancelled or the route gets changed due to any reason Bhatakna will not be responsible and alternate solution will be provided at monitory cost.
  • We advice to book your trip at least 30 days prior to improve your possibility of getting a confirmed tickets.
  • Kindly note that our team members will get in touch with you to provide alternate options for trains where you can hold a chance of a confirmed ticket which may have some monetary difference in the ticket amount which if you confirm to upgrade shall be liable to pay.
  • Incase the predictability tool doesn't work and you get a RAC or Waitlisted ticket, team Bhatakna wouldn't be responsible for it.
  • Incase the participant wants to cancel the train tickets & opt for flight, the cancellations charges would be applicable.

Pending Payment

Kindly complete your pending payment before 7 Days prior to the departure of the trip.
Incase you fail to pay the second installment the organizer holds the right to cancel your bookings.
Boarding will be denied incase of non payment and the seat will be allotted to someone else.
Incase of non payment the advance amount paid is not refundable.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation for Backpacking Trips

  • Cancellation 30 days before the starting date of the trip — Get your full trek fee back in an Bhatakna Cupon OR get a monetary refund with 15% cancellation charges.
  • Cancellation between 30 days and 20 days before the starting date of the trek — Get 80% of the trek fee in an Bhatakna cupon OR get a monetary refund with 50% cancellation charges.
  • Cancellation less than 20 days before the starting date of the trek — No monetary refund, get 50% of your fees in an Bhatakna Cupoun .
  • Cancellation less than 15 days to Departure:No refund will be provided for any amount paid.
  • Cancellation incase your not well and could not join:Incase you are unwell it is advisable to take rest however kindly note that you can find a replacement for yourself no refund or transfer is applicable incase of any illness or covid cases
