Starting from the charming village of Sankri, the trail takes you through dense pine forests, alpine meadows, and picturesque Himalayan villages like Osla. Trekkers walk alongside the serene Tons River, cross wooden bridges, and witness breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks throughout the journey.

This 7-day trek is ideal for beginners as well as experienced trekkers, offering a moderate level of difficulty with gradual ascents and well-marked trails. The journey provides a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and nature, making it more than just a trekking experience.

Day 1

DRIVE FROM DEHRADUN TO SANKRI (200KM | 08HRS)

Your journey begins from Dehradun, where the group will assemble at the designated pickup point near the railway station.

Reporting Time: 06:30 AM (Tentative)

After a brief introduction, we begin a scenic drive towards Sankri, the base camp for the Har Ki Dun Trek. The journey takes you through picturesque mountain roads, lush valleys, and charming Himalayan landscapes.

Upon arrival in Sankri, check into your designated homestay. The rest of the day is at leisure—relax, acclimatize to the surroundings, and soak in the peaceful mountain vibe.

In the evening, enjoy a warm dinner followed by an overnight stay in Sankri village, preparing you for the adventure ahead.

Day 2

SANKRI TO GANGAD | TREK TO SEEMA

After an early breakfast in Sankri, we begin our journey towards the trek starting point.

Drive from Sankri to Gangad

Upon arrival at Gangad, the trek to Seema begins. The trail gradually ascends through dense forests and scenic landscapes, offering mesmerizing views along the way.

Walk through a beautiful mix of sloping terrains and thick forests filled with chestnut, chinar, walnut, and willow trees, creating a refreshing and immersive Himalayan experience.

After reaching Seema, settle into your campsite and unwind amidst nature.

Enjoy a warm dinner followed by an overnight stay at Seema, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the mountains.

Day 3

SEEMA TO BOSLO (10KM)

Begin your day with a refreshing morning in Seema, followed by tea and breakfast before setting out on today’s trek.

Trek Route: Seema to Boslo

Altitude: Approx. 10,826 ft (3,300 meters)

The trail offers a perfect blend of scenic beauty, with expansive meadows and breathtaking mountain views throughout the journey. As you cross the bridge over the Supin River, you’ll be rewarded with your first stunning glimpse of the Har Ki Dun Valley.

Further along, the route continues through lush green meadows and serene landscapes before reaching your campsite.

Upon arrival in Boslo, take time to explore the surrounding meadows and soak in the untouched beauty of the Himalayas.

Enjoy a warm dinner followed by an overnight stay at Boslo, under a sky full of stars.

Day 4

BOSLO - HAR KI DUN - BOSLO (12KM)

Wake up to breathtaking views of the majestic Swargarohini Peaks and enjoy a hearty breakfast amidst stunning Himalayan landscapes.

Trek Route: Boslo to Har Ki Dun Valley & back

The trail begins through lush green meadows and gradually unfolds into mesmerizing scenery with sparkling waterfalls flowing through the valley. As you approach Har Ki Dun, the panoramic views of snow-clad peaks and the wide valley create a truly magical experience.

Spend some peaceful moments exploring the valley, soaking in its untouched beauty and serene atmosphere.

After enjoying the surroundings, begin your return trek to the campsite.

Dinner will be served at the campsite, followed by an overnight stay in tents under the stars.

Day 5

BOSLO TO SEEMA (10KM)

After breakfast at Boslo, begin your return trek towards Seema.

Trek Distance: Approx. 10 km

The trail descends through scenic landscapes, offering multiple opportunities for photography with beautiful views of forests, valleys, and mountain streams.

Seema, a quaint Himalayan village located near the confluence of the Supin River, welcomes you with its peaceful surroundings and rustic charm.

Upon arrival, relax at the campsite after a fulfilling day of trekking.

Enjoy a warm dinner followed by an overnight stay at Seema.

Day 6

SEEMA TO GANGAD - SANKRI

After an early breakfast in Seema, begin your descent towards the trek endpoint.

Trek Route: Seema to Gangad

Enjoy the final stretch of your trek through scenic forest trails and serene mountain landscapes. Upon reaching Gangad, board your vehicle for the drive back to Sankri.

On arrival in Sankri, check into your homestay and take some time to relax after the trek.

Enjoy a hearty dinner followed by an overnight stay in Sankri, marking the end of your trekking adventure.

Day 7

DRIVE FROM SANKRI TO DEHRADUN

After breakfast in Sankri, begin your return journey towards Dehradun.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the Himalayan landscapes as you head back, carrying unforgettable memories of your trekking experience.

Arrival in Dehradun: Around 07:00 PM

Upon arrival, the group will disperse, marking the end of a beautiful and enriching journey.

Note: It is recommended to book your return bus/train/flight after 10:00 PM for a comfortable buffer.

What is included in the tour

  • Accommodation: 2 Nights stay in homestay at Sankri (triple-sharing with attached washroom & geyser). 4 Nights tented accommodation on triple-sharing basis during the trek
  • Transportation: Surface transfer from Dehradun to Sankri and back. Local transfers: Sankri – Gangad – Sankri by Sumo / Bolero / Tempo Traveler (Non-AC). Note: Sankri-to-Sankri package excludes Dehradun transfers
  • All vegetarian meals from Day 1 Dinner to Day 7 Breakfast.
  • Camping & Trek Logistics: Trekking tents, sleeping bags, and mattresses. Dining tent, kitchen tent, and toilet tent.
  • Trek Support: Experienced and certified trek leader. Skilled support staff. Local guide (as per group size).
  • All necessary permits and entry fees (for Indian nationals).
  • Gaiters, micro spikes, and ropes (if required).
  • Safety Equiments: Walkie-talkies,First aid kit with oximeter, Blood pressure monitor & Oxygen cylinder.

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Any additional personal expenses incurred by the traveler such as adventure activities (other than included rafting), extra meals, shopping, tips, or miscellaneous expenses.
  • Meals not specifically mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Expenses arising due to unavoidable circumstances such as roadblocks, landslides, weather conditions, natural calamities, vehicle breakdowns, or any other force majeure situations.
  • Any cost incurred due to illness, injury, or medical emergencies of the traveler during the trip.
  • Anything not explicitly mentioned under the “Inclusions” section.
  • Bag offloading cost is ₹1800 (maximum weight should not be more than 10 kg).

Clothing - Warm jackets (preferably down / heavy woollen), thermal wear (upper & lower), sweaters / hoodies, comfortable trekking pants, full sleeve t-shirts, nightwear, extra pair of socks (woollen recommended) & raincoat / poncho (weather can change suddenly).
Footwear - Good quality trekking shoes with strong grip, slippers / floaters for hotel use & extra pair of socks.
Accessories - Woollen cap / monkey cap, gloves, sunglasses (UV protected), sunscreen (SPF 30+), lip balm & moisturizer, small backpack (for trek day essentials).
Medicines - Personal prescribed medicines, basic medication for headache, cold, fever , ORS sachets, pain relief spray, band-aids, portable oxygen can (optional but useful for high altitude).
Documents - Government ID proof (Aadhar / Passport / DL).
Trek Essentials - Reusable water bottle, energy bars / dry fruits, torch / headlamp, power bank , wet wipes / tissues.
Important Notes - Avoid heavy luggage — carry only essentials, pack light for the Kedarnath trek & weather in Kedarnath can drop below 5°C even in summer.
